Dr. Naomi Hill Hugh

About this Speaker

Dr Hill, as she is professionally known, spent most of her life in the state of New Jersey. She was born in Atlantic City and raised in Pleasantville.

She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Rutgers University – Douglass College. She went on to supervise, and perform research in, an Infectious Disease Laboratory, at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. As a result of her diligent work, she and Dr. Paul Offitt collaborated on several published research papers leading to the development of the first Rota Virus Vaccine. After 2 years, she matriculated into The Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. In May 1996 she was bestowed the Degree, Doctor of Medicine.

Dr Hill returned to New Jersey where she completed her Pediatric Residency Training Program at, The University of Medicine and Dentistry, Cooper University Hospital, Camden. Since her successful completion of that program, she has been an attending physician at Advocare Kressville Pediatrics, with offices in Cherry Hill and Sicklerville. She joined Dr Cyrus Mohazzebi as a solo practitioner. In the 20 years since, the practice has grown to 8 pediatricians and a patient base of more than 16,000.

Dr Hill holds an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey; is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics; is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics; and is a 20- year, active, staff member of the Virtua and Jefferson Health Systems. She was named a “Top Doctor” by the NJ Top Docs and is listed (Name and City) in the 2016 and 2017 “Top Doctor” magazine issues.

Dr Hill is an active member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Lindenwold, New Jersey. It is there, where she met her beloved husband, Deacon Kelvin H. Hugh. They have been married 13 years and are the blessed parents of three sons: Steffon, Justin, and Joshua; and two grandchildren, Zuri and Asar. She is a member of the Deaconess Board; the Diamonds Women’s Ministry; and Dream Challenge Health, Wellness and Fitness Program. Equally important, she inspires and encourages young adult and adolescent women through mentorship.

God has truly been a blessing to and in her life. She operates under the power of His anointing in all that she does. She views her role as pediatrician, wife, mother, and mentor as an absolute, perfect, part of God’s plan for her life. And, she works daily on His mission field. It is to Him, that she gives all glory and honor.
