Mellissa Miller has over 20 years of teaching experience in Charlotte, NC and overseas. She has worked as a classroom teacher and curriculum facilitator. She is a teacher leader in her district by leading workshops for the district and school. Mellissa also works with the Charlotte YMCA as a Curriculum Site Coordinator for YReaders, Curriculum Tutor, and Parent Trainer where she develops, trains, and implements workshops to help parents support their scholars academically. She is a proud graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a degree in Elementary Education, Gardner Webb University with a Masters Degree in School Leadership, and Fullsail University with a Maters Degree in Educational Media Design and Technology. She has written grants to bring technology into the classrooms.
